Unlike other foot massages that intend to mostly relieve tension in the feet themselves, reflexology is a far more in-depth science that aims to harmonize your entire body. According to reflexology, every part of the human body is mapped into your feet. Reflexology treatments have been found to be highly effective for conditions such as allergies, headaches, and depression. A study was done on reflexology while a client was having a CAT SCAN was done and showed increased circulation to the specific area that was mapped out on the feet.

Deep Tissue Massage
Deep tissue massage is a very deep, slow massage on a specific area of the body. I use hot towels & arnica oil to help warm up and loosen the tissue before I start to do deep work. When there is chronic muscle tension or injury, there are usually adhesions (bands of painful, rigid tissue) in muscles, tendons, and ligaments. Adhesions can block circulation and cause pain, limited movement, and inflammation.
